TRAVEL INFO

To visit Belarus you need a Belarusian entry visa. To get the visa together with the documents required by the Belarusian consulate (valid passport and completed visa application form with your photo) you are to present to the consulate necessary documents from an inviting you company registered in Belarus or a Belarusian citizen. What documents you need depends on visa type that you choose. There are the following main types of visas in Belarus:

Tourist Visa.

It is one entry visa that allows the tourist to stay in Belarus for up to 30 days. It is the easiest way to get the Belarusian visa. To get the tourist visa it is necessary for a visitor to receive the invitation and voucher from a Belarusian tourist company registered in Belarus. The invitation must contain the information about the inviting company (its name, registered address, license number) and about the tourist (full name, passport data, dates of stay in Belarus). The voucher is the document where the services paid by the tourist including hotel booking are shown. These documents are to be signed and put a stamp by the director of the tourist company.

Guest (Private) Visa.

Such visa is issued on the basis of an invitation from a citizen of the Republic of Belarus. Your friends or relatives can arrange the invitation from their district authorities (OVIR/Passport and Visa Service). After persons who invite you get this document, they need to send its original to you by post. The process of getting the invitation usually takes about a month or longer.

Business Visa.

Business visa allows to stay in Belarus for up to 90 days. You can get one entry or multiple entry Business visa. To get the visa you need to have an invitation from your business partner registered in Belarus.

Transit Visa.

Transit visa is issued on the basis of the documents confirming that you do not stay in Belarus longer than 48 hours (air or train tickets, visa stamp of your destination country, etc.). You must enter Belarus from one country and leave Belarus for another country.

Visa On Spot.

If there is no Belarusian consulate in your country or you are short of time to get visa at the consulate you can get a Belarusian express-visa at the Consular Point of the International Airport Minsk-2 if you arrive there by plane on the basis of the above-mentioned documents (depending on visa type).

Children up to 16 years old need to get their own visas if they travel with their own passports.
